Goodwill Donation Drive

Proceeds support the programs of Scouts BSA Troop 41 and American Legion Post 858.
Troop 41 is especially grateful for the support of the Veterans Supportive Services Agency, Inc (VSSA) in contributing to this effort.
Representatives will be present to share information about our organizations for those interested in joining or further supporting our programs.

Goodwill Donation Pickup Service
Helping Our Community, One Donation at a Time
Troop 41 is dedicated to making it easier for our community members to donate to Goodwill. We understand that for some, getting out to donate items can be a challenge. That’s why we offer a free pickup service specifically for our elderly and disabled neighbors.
One-Day Donation Drive:
Date: June 29, 2025
Limited Availability: Please note that we have a limited number of pickups available on this day. We encourage you to schedule early to secure your spot.
Eligibility:
This service is only available to individuals who are 65 years or older or those with a disability.
This service is only available to residences within a one-mile radius of our donation truck which will be parked at 3466 Grossmont Dr.
How It Works:
Schedule a Pickup: Simply fill out our online form to request a pickup.
Prepare Your Donations: Gather your gently used items such as clothing and household goods. Avoid donating any non-acceptable item as described above.
We Come to You: Our friendly team will come to your location between 9am and 1pm to collect your donations, ensuring a hassle-free experience.
Donation Instructions:
Weather Permitting: Please leave your items on your driveway if the weather cooperates.
Identification: Please tape the flyer you received to your donation items to help us identify them easily.
Timing: Ensure your items are placed outside by 9am on the day of the pickup.
